Hello-
We are looking for more volunteers to help with the initial construction of the 8th grade dance decorations. These light weight props don't require any art skill and are fun to put together. With several people helping, each kit will take shape in a few sessions. We will construct the dance props over several weeks beginning on Wednesday, April 23rd at 5 pm in the DHMS library. Please come and join us!
Thanks-
Cathy Boutin

Our next 8th grade dance meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 15th at 5pm in the DHMS library. Never fear, we are an active group and won't be sitting for long. The plan is to tour the gym and/or look at the dance prop kits. Perhaps we will even have time to start to assemble the kits! Many hands will make light work of the dance props and no experience or art talent are required. If interested, please contact: cathy_boutin@jsd.k12.ak.us or 463-1899. Thanks!

Dear Parents,

We have received information about the possibility of an "online predator" contacting a number of our students via "My Space" on their home computers. The use of "My Space" is not allowed in school and our filtering software blocks its use.

Investigation continues, and we want to let you know in an effort to provide you an opportunity to discuss your child's online activities. Here's a web site (there are many more available by searching "parent monitoring of my space") to help you in these efforts:

Thank you,
Barb
